I need transportation from Orlando International to Port Canaveral cruise terminal (about 45 miles) and not sure how to go about it. Taxi? Shuttle? How much does it cost for 2 people. Our cruise is on March 5th.

Here is a link to a list of transportation companies serving Port Canaveral. You’ll want to call the shuttle companies in the 321 (Brevard County, where Port Canaveral is) area code or the 407 (Orlando) area code.

This company, which I clicked on at random, claims that for $45 per person, round trip, they will transport you from "Orlando International Airport hotels" to Port Canaveral. Might want to check it out: http://www.spaceporttransport.com/rates.htm

According to a link on first site I gave, a taxi would run you about $65-85 each way.

I highly recommend Mears Transportation over a Taxi. They offer inexpensive shuttle services from the Orlando International Airport and are located one floor below baggage claim. You can make your reservation online before you fly out at their website:

    Enjoy your cruise!

The best way hands down is using a shuttle service. Tropicana Transportation is rated #1 in Orlando. I don’t think it is possible to get a lower price either, they charge $40 a person ROUNDTRIP!
Very friendly service too! You can’t go wrong. I found them online at www.TropicanaTransport.com
