What is the best cruise destination for first time cruisers?

I’ve been on one three day cruise before. Very small. My boyfriend has never cruised. We are both 29. We would like to take Royal Caribbean and cruise for around 7 to 10 days. We are having a hard time choosing a destination. Any suggestions and why you like it there?

Your boyfriend has never cruised before, maybe you should think about a shorter cruise for him to "try out". What if he doesn’t like it and you are on the ship for 7-10 days. That is what we are doing. We are going on our first cruise in Oct. and did not want to jump right in to a 7 day cruise in case we didn’t like it. So we are trying a 4 day and then if we like it we will go on a longer one. Hope that helps a little.

I’d recommend Greece because the islands are just so beautiful, and the cruise is very scenic. Great food, great people, great time!!

Definitely the Caribbean or the bahamas. The excursions are always amazing and the weather is nice. I wouldn’t recommend taking a cruise to go sight-seeing because you would only be at a certain port for a day at a time.

I love the Caribbean. The southern Caribbean was my favorite….Aruba, Curacao, the Virgin Islands, Barbados, etc. Great cruise!

Ive been on over 10 cruises and I find the best cruises are on the newest ships if you have a really nice ship it doesnt really matter where you stop

I ‘ve been on 22 cruises and on my 23rd tomorrow. The Mediterranean is one of the best for seeing some great places. some great cruises on right now at http://www.vacationgetaways.net good luck and happy cruising..)

Caribbean! Don’t do mexico unless you go during the US’s winter . My bf and I went during our July and it was their rainy season. A lot of young couples choose that destination because they think it is cheaper but we spent more on our mexican cruise then we are for our Caribbean cruise and that MIGHT be including our airfare :(

Someone suggested Greece and Greece is beautiful but so far it has been one of the most expensive cruises I’ve seen… We will go some day because it truly is magnificent in beauty but so is the Caribbean!!!!

I think that a cruise to the Carribean would be nice. It is very relaxing with lots of beaches, but also some sights like jungles, waterfalls and ruins. Though i didnt go with RC, i went with NCL and it was fabulous.

heyy im alohi i have been on 9 royal caribbean cruises(:
    im 14(:

my first favorite would have to be the mediterrian but that was a 12 day cruise maybe not the best first cruise

    also my favorite is

    all the caribbeans

western caribbean-archaic ruins, beaches, rain forests and many waterfalls

    (eastern caribbean-white-sand beaches&& turquoise waters)
    my most favorite^^

southern caribbean-i would say the most exotic magens bay beach in st.thomas

my third favorite is australia/new zeland.
but that is also a long cruise

but for the number of days your choosing i would suggest cruising
    with the caribbean(:

also a 10 night hawaiian one would be awesome!
im from hawaii but i moved 4 years ago to arizona:p
    so i love cruising there!!!!!!!!!
