Vista Application Compatibility Technologies

This podcast discusses both the Program Compatibility Wizard (for manually specifing compatibility needs) and the Program Compatibility Assistant (for automatic detection of compatibility problems). Both are intended to help you run programs not designed for Windows Vista and with varying degrees of success can be very helpful if you run into problems getting some of those older programs to work.

Thelma,

To start the Program Compatibility Wizard click the "Start" button, then "Control Panel", then "Programs", and then click "Use an older program with this version of Windows".
