How long before a cruise do you receive your information packet?

I’m going on a carnival cruise May 4th. It’s less then 3 weeks away…when should I expect my packet full of my travel information?
We have a guaranteed stateroom so we have no idea which one we’ll get. Do we just find out when we get there or what?
30 days has come and gone.
Should I call my agent?

You should receive docs 3 to 4 weeks before you leave. Some cruise lines let you print them out yourself. With Carnival you fill out a fun pass and you really don’t even need your docs just take the fun pass and check in.

If you are leaving on May 4th and you do not have your travel documents yet, then yes, you should call your travel agent.

At this point, you will likely get e-tickets. You should be able to go to carnival.com and use your confirmation number to access your record. From there you can fill out your FunPass and also print e-tickets. I generally do all that for my clients.

As for your cabin assignment, it depends on how full the sailing is. You may have already been assigned a cabin, but you might not know until you get to the pier. Even if it is assigned as of now, since you have a guaranteed cabin, it is subject to change right up until you check in.

    Have a great cruise!
