Cruise holidays are becoming more and more popular these days. Actually, with the hectic lifestyles that many people are leading these days, cruise trips are a great option for them to take a break from the pressures of their work life. These trips are tailored to offer great relaxation and entertainment to ensure that cruisers will feel totally refreshed at the end of their vacation. If you are going on a cruise for the first time, perhaps a three or four day cruise is the best option for you. Such a trip is affordable, and it is ideal for people who want to experience what a cruise trip is all about.

Things you have to know before you go on a cruise trip

For first time cruisers, it is mandatory that you have to be aware of the following factors:

The methods of preventing sickness at sea

The amount of money you should bring on the trip

Type of luggage required for the cruise

Proper planning for shore excursions

First time cruisers often get too excited before their trips, and they may even forget their travel schedules. It is important that you remember the schedule of flight, train or other transportation that you will be taking to catch the cruise. Before you go on your trip, make sure you have everything you need with you.

Essential things that first time cruisers should bring

It is best that you bring a hand luggage to carry your essential things, such as bathing suits, medications, cameras, sunscreen lotions and necessary toiletries. It is indeed necessary that you have a clear idea about the dress code that is required for your cruise. You should check whether the cruise requires casual or formal wear. If casual wear applies, it is wise to bring a jacket and a pair of pants. It may be essential that you have your travel document with you as well, depending on the destination of the cruise.

What to do when you are onboard the cruise boat?

After getting into the boat, it is necessary to explore the cruise boat, so that you will know the locations of all the facilities in the boat. This way, you will know what facilities and activities are available for your convenience and entertainment.

Seasickness can be a major problem, but instead of letting it ruin your vacation, it is advisable to use sea bands and acupressure wristbands. You should also carry some medications for emergency purposes. Though first aid facilities are usually available on cruise boats, it is better to bring some essential medicines of your own too.

Cruises usually have laundry facilities, but you should still ask your cruise provider to confirm. Babysitting facilities are also available in most cruise boats, and you should check the cruise line policies if you want to avail of these facilities.

Finding the right cruise vacation

To enjoy the ultimate cruise vacation, it is advisable that you do some research on the cruise packages that are available. Many of the cruise lines offer toll free customer care numbers, and you can contact the customer care executives to get some information about the cruises they offer. These executives can give you a very comprehensive explanation on the different types of cruises they have. It is also possible to find information about cruises on the internet. Online articles and journals on cruises provide many tips that you may find helpful. For first time cruisers, it is wise to go for a more affordable cruise trip first. If you find that you enjoy the Toronto Cruise for example, you can go for longer ones later.

Have you planned and booked your first cruise? Youre surely excited about setting off on to the open seas. Life on board a ship is like nothing else and can be intimidating for a first-timer. Here are some things to remember and tips on what to expect.

Cruise ships are like floating cities. They are large and complex with several levels and many public spaces. They include many facilities such as gyms, swimming pools, bowling alleys, restaurants and shopping facilities. Like visiting a new city, it can be easy to get lost.

To get your orientation, first study the map of the ship. Figure out where your cabin is located and mark it on the map. Make a mental note of large structures that will help you get your orientation if you get lost such as pools and restaurants. Wonder around the ship and discover the facilities that are available to the guests. This may encourage you to participate in activities that you wouldnt normally get involved. Check out the various restaurants; there is usually a 24 hour buffet so you can fill your craving for food no matter what time of day. Locate the pubic restrooms and convenience stores.

There are several information desks so dont worry if you get lost. In fact, crew members are very familiar with the ship so dont be afraid to ask if you get lost. Theyll be happy to suggest activities and tell you how to find them.

Take a look at the cruise ships newsletter. It will be full of suggestions for activities while youre on the ship. There are suggestions for activities for children and things to keep the adults occupied while the kids are at the pool.

Make a list of the things youd like to see and do while youre on the ship. If you like to see shows then make sure you plan for them. Arrive in plenty of time to get a good seat.

There will be a mandatory lifeboat drill. With all of the advanced technology on ships, the chances of abandoning ship are almost zero. Even though boat travel is very safe, make sure you pay attention.

Almost everything on the ship is included in the price of the cruise but a few things are not. One of the biggest expenses on the cruise is the alcohol. Make sure you know how much something costs before you order it. Remember that you are not one a Alicante discount flight, so make a budget for yourself and stick to it.

Your first cruise will no doubt be an experience that you wont forget. Orientate yourself with the ships facilities and activities and youre sure to have an enjoyable holiday.

My First Cruise

WOW! That is how i felt when i stepped foot onto the most beautiful ship i have ever seen. I just returned home to philadelphia from my first cruise experience and i feel like my life has been changed forever.

This was not just a regular cruise. This was a millionaire mentoring success cruise. Big difference.

I started out by flying to Miami Florida to meet up with about 50 of my business associates. We spent the night in a beautiful hotel on the Miami river. The next morning we had an outstanding training session with my person mentor Mr. Dwayne Golden. This gentleman is one of the most dynamic trainers in all of the world. I believe everyone should have someone like Dwayne in their life.

Then we were off to the port where our beautiful ship awaited us. Her name was The Majesty of The Seas.
I have seen cruise ships from the outside and they all look huge but until you step foot on one you have no idea.

As soon as you step on to the ship you are overwhelmed with beauty. Glass elevators, brass handrails, and mirror everywhere. I felt like i was in one of Donald Trumps casinos. Then i proceeded to my private stateroom where i was greeted with an ocean view. It was amazing. So after i got settled in it was time for dinner.

I could go on for hours about the amazing dining experiences that i was blessed with but i do not want to make anyone jealous. I was surrounded by an amazing group of like minded entrepreneurs and lets just say that we were treated like royalty. I am not sure which was better, the food or the service. They were both outstanding. Every meal was better than the last. With out a doubt the best culinary experiences of my life and i have been to many five star restaurants but none of them compared to this.

Our first destination was Nassau Bahamas. When woke up and looked out the window i saw paradise. After i got showered and dressed i had the privilege of spending a few hours with a skillionaire. His name is Myron Golden and this man is nothing short of a genius. If you would like your life to go from tragic to magic in a short period of time you will want to get familiar the systems that he has created.

After lunch it was time to get a taste of paradise. As soon as i got off the ship in the Bahamas i looked into the Caribbean sea and immediately saw some of the most colorful fish in the world. As i strolled around the streets of Nassau shopping for souvenirs all i could think of was how great my life has become since i began my journey of personal development. It is amazing the kind of life you can live when you actually make a decision to change the quality of your life.

That night we had full schedule of entertainment as we cruised to our next destination. We experienced a hilarious hour of karaoke. Then the laughs continued with a comedy show in the next room over. Then it time to dance. Fortunately for me some of the people i was with were from Colombia because until that night i had no idea how to salsa dance. I had a so much fun i went back the next night and learned a few more moves.

When we woke up the next morning we were in Coco Cay. This is a private island in the Bahamas that is owned by the cruise line. We were anchored out in the middle of the sea and we had to take a shuttle boat to get on to the island. Once we arrived on the island we went snorkeling and then we relaxed on the beach. As i was sitting in a hammock watching the waves come in i was looking out at the ship as it sat anchored still a few hundred yards away. It looked so small. So i had my friend take a picture of me standing along the edge of the rocks with my hand out and it looks like the ship is in my hand. It is a really cool picture. I would love to send you a copy of it.

That evening we saw something nobody could describe. There was a full moon with a very bright ring around it. It looked like a halo. If you know what that is about please let me know. As we danced the night away on the top deck over looking the swimming pool there was a man creating an ice sculpture that turned out to be an Indian head. It was really cool looking. After the music finally stopped we went to the all night pizza buffet. About 20 of us sat there eating pizza and telling stories. We had some good laughs as we learned some new things about each other.

The next morning we woke up in the Florida Keys. From our view on the ship it looked amazing. To our left there was an island with nothing but beautiful houses on it. And on our right was the city of Key West.

Before we went out to tour the beautiful city we we blessed to have another amazing trainer/celebrity who was willing to spend some time with us. Her name is Artemis Limpert. She is one of the most the most powerful women in free enterprise but she is also in the new movie Pass It On which is like a sequel to the movie The Secret. If you have not seen these movies yet you will want to do so immediately. They will change your life.

After getting some amazing wisdom from Mrs. Limpert were off the ship and onto the streets of Key West. This is amazing historical town with a ton of things to see. I did some touring around but it was very hot and sunny so me and my friends from Chicago decided to go swimming in the Gulf of Mexico for the rest of the day.

That night back on our beautiful ship with my body covered with sunburn i just relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet that i knew would be over in the morning.

As i woke up on our final morning in Miami Florida all i could think about was the next time i will be cruising out to sea. Which will not be long. Our team will be celebrating our next success cruise in April. You should set a goal for yourself to be on it with us. It will be a life changing experience.

Do not just live life, Create a lifestyle.

Congratulations on your future success,

Great Ideas For Preparing to Take Your First Cruise

Going on luxurious cruises was once considered something done by just the wealthier travelers. Now that is not the case and just about anyone can afford to take a cruise, especially right now where there are great bargains to be found. This will touch on how to pick the best cruise line for you as well as things to do to prepare for your cruise whether it is putting on tanning bed lotion or tanning bed lotions to build up that base tan for the Caribbean cruise or buying a new zoom lens for your camera to capture the great wildlife on an Alaskan cruise.

If you have never been on a cruise before, it may be a good idea to visit a cruise specialist in the travel industry that can help you learn all you need to know about cruising. Obviously your budget is a big deciding factor and that may eliminate certain cruise lines right off that bat. The main thing to understand is what type of cruise vacation are you looking for? Are you more interested in a relaxing, smaller boat that stops in a lot of ports or are you ready to party away with a large boat that offers a lot of activities every minute of the day? Another great tip is to ask your relatives or friends that have gone on cruises what they liked and disliked about the lines they went on.

Another thing to consider is if you are just two adults traveling for a getaway or a family with younger children taking a trip. Some cruise lines are specifically geared towards families with young children like the Disney Cruise lines that offer child centered activities all around. This obviously, would not be a good pick for the couple wanting a romantic honeymoon trip. On the other hand you may not want to take your young children on a mostly senior citizen cruise line where everyone on board does not like the noise small children produce.

There are also theme specific special cruises that cruise for a specific group or activity. They have fitness and weight loss based cruises that are filled with nutritionists and trainers helping you get a head start to being more healthy. They even have cruises that are for gay and lesbian groups where they can be comfortable with who they are while on vacation. There are special cruises for everyone and it may be something you want to look into when choosing a cruise.

Once you pick a cruise, make sure to plan ahead and prepare as much as you can. Despite the large size of most cruise ships, there can be some motion sickness so having medicine for that is a good idea as well as booking a room higher on the ship versus lower will reduce sea sickness too. Pack wisely and research the ports where you will stop so you are ready for a great trip and experience all that you want to.
