My family and I will be taking a cruise in January and we are flying in a couple of days early becasue we found a cheaper flight. Now we are looking for a hotel that is close to the airport and to the port in Tampa. If any hotel have free shuttle service from the airport and to the port? Also, we don’t know if we should rent a car or could we just use the trolley to get around? Thanks for your help!
Carnival Cruises: Can you walk to the Mayan ruins in Cozumel, Mexico without having to pay for a tour? (or is it also perhaps too long of a walk on foot?) Trying to figure out if it is possible to get a better experience of the islands than the packaged activities the cruise line offers if we can. Also, any recommendations for which snorkeling shore excursions/spots were neat for those of you who have tried them in Cozumel and Key West, or any other activities to consider?
I went on it 10 years ago and I can’t remember. My friend went on a Mexico cruise a few months ago when there was a wind advisory. They couldn’t even get off at Catalina island because it was sooo windy. Anyways she said she didn’t feel good (seasickness) on the ship and even a week after getting off. Now she is thinking of cancelling her trip to Alaska. I told her I don’t remember it being to rocky. Can anyone give their input?
Thanks!
I’m going on a Disney cruise above the Disney Wonder and I’m trying to pick my room but the wording sounds so tricky. What do the following rooms include?
Private verandah with nautical touches and a large open-air porthole in the solid white wall above the railing
and
Private verandah (Some staterooms in this category include a solid white wall verandah.)
THANKS!
I want to apply for cruise ship work but the websites seem to charge a huge amount, is there a way of appling for free??? Please help!!!
I’m going on a carnival cruise May 4th. It’s less then 3 weeks away…when should I expect my packet full of my travel information?
We have a guaranteed stateroom so we have no idea which one we’ll get. Do we just find out when we get there or what?
30 days has come and gone.
Should I call my agent?
I’m planning a cruise next year (roundtrip from New York to Nova Scotia) with available dates starting in August 2008, but I was hoping I could wait until February 2008 to book it.
