My family and I will be taking a cruise in January and we are flying in a couple of days early becasue we found a cheaper flight. Now we are looking for a hotel that is close to the airport and to the port in Tampa. If any hotel have free shuttle service from the airport and to the port? Also, we don’t know if we should rent a car or could we just use the trolley to get around? Thanks for your help!
Carnival Cruises: Can you walk to the Mayan ruins in Cozumel, Mexico without having to pay for a tour? (or is it also perhaps too long of a walk on foot?) Trying to figure out if it is possible to get a better experience of the islands than the packaged activities the cruise line offers if we can. Also, any recommendations for which snorkeling shore excursions/spots were neat for those of you who have tried them in Cozumel and Key West, or any other activities to consider?
I went on it 10 years ago and I can’t remember. My friend went on a Mexico cruise a few months ago when there was a wind advisory. They couldn’t even get off at Catalina island because it was sooo windy. Anyways she said she didn’t feel good (seasickness) on the ship and even a week after getting off. Now she is thinking of cancelling her trip to Alaska. I told her I don’t remember it being to rocky. Can anyone give their input?
Thanks!
